1. Who we are
VisaFreeJobs.com ("we", "us", "the app") helps job seekers discover work-visa-sponsored roles worldwide and tailor their applications using AI. Contact: support@visafreejobs.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, and (if you use Google sign-in) your Google profile name and avatar. Phone number is optional (used only if you sign in via SMS).
- Profile data: full name, LinkedIn URL, portfolio URL, CV text you paste or extract from PDF/DOCX/TXT files, target countries, target roles, seniority, and minimum salary.
- Application data: jobs you save, AI-generated CVs and cover letters, and application status notes.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and debugging. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Google Play "Data Safety" summary
Data collected: Personal info (name, email, phone optional), Files & docs (CV file/text), App activity (jobs saved, applications). Purpose: App functionality and Account management only. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS); users can request deletion from inside the app (Profile → Delete my account). No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
3. How we use your data
- To match you with visa-sponsored jobs and rank them by fit.
- To generate tailored CVs, cover letters, and interview prep using AI.
- To keep you signed in and remember your preferences across devices.
- To respond to support requests.
4. AI processing
CV text and prompts are sent to large-language-model providers (Google Gemini and OpenAI) via Lovable AI Gateway solely to generate the requested output. Providers do not use this data to train their models when accessed through the gateway. We do not sell your data.
5. Where data is stored
Account, profile, and application data is stored in Lovable Cloud (managed PostgreSQL, EU/US regions) protected with row-level security so only you can read or write your own data.
6. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We share data only with infrastructure providers (Lovable Cloud, the AI gateway above) strictly to operate the service.
7. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- View and edit all your data on the Profile page.
- Delete individual profiles, saved jobs, or applications from inside the app.
- Permanently delete your account and all associated data using the "Delete account" button on the Profile page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
- Email support@visafreejobs.com for any GDPR/CCPA request (data export, correction, restriction).
8. Retention
We keep your data until you delete your account. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
9. Children
VisaFreeJobs.com is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify signed-in users by email for material changes.
